PARKLAND YOUTH HOMES SOCIETY Parkland Youth Homes is a private, non-profit organization governed by a community board of dedicated professional and business leaders. A continuum of services is provided to young people and their families that reside in Central Alberta. Parkland began as Parkland Clinical Treatment Centre, a program of Woods Homes in Calgary, in 1986. In 1997 this program evolved into a separate legal society and an autonomous, community-driven organization. MISSION STATEMENT Through positive intention and therapeutic intervention, we assist children and families to experience enhanced possibilities in their lives. CONTRIBUTORS & FUNDERS Parkland Youth Homes provides contracted services for Region 4 Child and Family Services Authority, David Thompson Health Region, Red Deer Public School District, Red Deer Family & Community Support Services, Kasohkowew Child Wellness Society and other government agencies both provincially and federally. Services are augmented and supported by community volunteers and through individual financial donations.
